I don't have any conflicts in the late evening - I work from 8-5 M-F ... I usually get online around 5:30pm every day, earlier on the weekends (I'm on server Time)

Chiggins said you guys were pretty laid back and cool, and I'm tired of stressing over other peoples inability to play their toons and know their roles...which is why I've been on a break from raiding for a few months, hence my gear isn't really all it could be. But he said you're generally nice people who know what they're doing, so I'm willing to give it a go. I currently pull about 4.5-5.4k dps in 10 man raids as a raid specc'd balance druid.

I would call myself a casual raider/PvPer these days. I used to be fairly hardcore. I have led multiple raiding guilds, the most recent being Sammaels Blade, which didn't do as well as I had hoped due to attendence issues, and people leaving once we geared then up. I still have the guild but now its more of a small social guild than a raiding guild. =) I have raided everything from Kara through BT in BC, and have cleared all of naxx, TOC and Ony, and most of ulduar. on both 10 and 25. But those clears are on all different toons, so my achievement points aren't very impressive on any of them.

I use Skadi for threat and DBM - when i bother - i usually don't need them, and people often cant tell when I'm not using them since I don't really need them, so...lol

as far as choosing friends or raiding.....If some friends of mine showed up to hang out, I would tell raid leader that I need to leave as soon as a replacement can be found and then stay as long as possible without pissing off my friends so that I could be replaced as seamlessly as possible so as not to disrupt the raid.

We have closed recruitment for the most part but we may have need of another level headed boomkin, so I will bring it up to the other officers. Other then that I liked you application! The only thing I will say is that before you get into the guild you will have to disclose your first name, as we all go by first names in this guild to help build upon the friendship basis. Smile

Hello Brian,
My name is Burton. I completely understand if you are full on "hard-core" raiders. However, just to let you know, if it makes a difference, as much as I would prefer to raid with the primary group, I would be content with just running the EZ-mode raids like 25 Ony/ToC, Ulduar/Naxx, etc. And could, if necessary, find my own 10 mans and sit out of the heroic mode raids to make room for the raiders with seniority.

Just a thought. I'm just really bored to tears with heroics and would like to get back into raiding again, even if that means sitting on the bench every once in a while.

Well then Burton, pleased to meet you yet again, since I feel like I'm meeting you all over again with a real name! Smile

I have given it some thought, and spoken with a few, and the decision is that we are shy of hard-core raiders with exceptional dps, and would be pleased to have you. Seniority may play a part in the beginning, but you will gain quickly, no worries. Smile
